Portsmouth to Caen: Interview with Arthur and Trevor Tallon (Part Two)

Following on from Portsmouth to Caen: Interview with Arthur and Trevor Tallon (Part One).

Maggie and I have a chat with Arthur Tallon and his son, Trevor Tallon, on the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen.

The book that Arthur will be using to follow the Rifle Brigade’s progress after they landed in Bayeux on D-Day was written by Major Hasting. Here he tells us how each regiment has such a book.

Arthur was too young to fight in the Second World War but he is looking forward to honouring his friend, Sam by commemorating the 70th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy.
