Tilly-sur-Seulles Museum

Earlier this week, Maggie and I drove to Tilly-sur-Suelles to meet Stephane, the director of the Musée de la bataille de Tilly-sur-Seulles.

The museum is based in an elegant church which was one of the few buildings in the village to survive the battle of Tilly-sur-Seulles. Although small, the Tilly Museum boasts an interesting and extensive selection of D-Day memorabilia.

Years of research has been dedicated to developing an intimate and personal collection of photographs, artifacts and memories about the battle of Tilly-sur-Seulles.

Flick through the gallery below to see some of the photos taken on our tour with Stephane.
